Another shot for the size. It's made by a german knifemaker who unfortunately quit his business. To be honest I forgot the name
OK, thanks! If you ever decide to part with it please let me know. Thanks, again! Meanwhile, here's a brass Atwood whistle:
Are the Atwoods all-metal or do they like many others actually have a plastic insert? L'chaim! Moshe ben David
I have four of them, Moshe: they all have nylon fipple/insert. But, I've never had one have the fipple come out nor have I ever read of that occurring on an Atwood whistle.
Tuxedo’s seems to have a insert of similar white as the outer material. But is it ivory, too, or is it nylon?
Well, it probably doesn't make any difference, batteur, since the guy is no longer making them. I no longer have one like that (stupidly traded it off) but mine was all ivory. Let's see what he says.
That's ivory, too. The maker used a special adhesive so it doesn't get darker like normal adhesive would over the time. You can see it nontheless, but no problem for me.
Love seeing all the fun whistles on this thread - even better when they are on keychains and being carried.
I always think there are limited interesting options until I come to EDCforums and see everyones amazing things. Where are you guys getting these super interesting whistles? are you making them yourselves? I just have a run of the mill commercial offering from Fenix. I do like it though its small compact and really load.
Been carrying this for about ten years. It's small -- about the size of an AAA battery. Comes with a little screwdriver too.
