Everyone has that thing they like to collect -- it may be Pez dispensers or it may be vintage sewing machines. Either way let's see 'em!
    Here are my collections:

Aspirin/Fuse Tins (Altoids for size comparison)
    Staplers
    [IMG]
    Shoe Horns
    [IMG]
Bottle Openers (three of them double as shoe horns)

I've gotten into bottle openers so much that I got a book about them

Cool stuff, my wife just brought a bunch of vintage staplers back from her parents' house.
I used to have tons of those little fuse boxes when I was kid, wish I had kept a couple of them.

This is an old photo, the entire shelving unit is positively stuffed with model car gear and the unbuilt kits now reach the ceiling.

When I was a kid, I was crazy about cars and collected a couple hundred toy cars.

These are some of my Uncle's '50s and '60s era Matchboxes (made in Lesney, England):

Sadly, they're pretty beat up as they've received a lot of use and abuse over the years, but they're still pretty neat. I have tons of Matchboxes, Micromachines, a few Hot wheels, a couple Corgis, and a few Hess trucks and other larger toys in my collection.

Deleted because I think this thread has proven to be much nicer with closup shots of specific collections, and not shots of rooms that make it difficult to discern any one collection very well (like teh one I posted).

and the one that started it all.... my first skateboard.
    The Duraflex Surfer
    [IMG]

These are just some of my favorites. I have a closet full of others.
This collection started with my search for the Duraflex Surfer. I really
wanted to hang my first skateboard on my wall at home. It took me about 5 years to find one in this condition.
Since the graphics are on the top of this deck, the few boards that I've seen are pretty much destroyed.
I'm not actively searching for decks anymore but if I happen to run across one I'll pick it up.
I started to get get them autographed.
The Social Distortion board was autographed by Mike Ness. He was really surprised to see the board.
Mike Palm signed both of my Agent Orange decks.
Henry Rollins & Keith Morris signed my Black Flag deck.
The Subhumans board was signed by the entire band.
The Misfits deck was signed by Jerry Only

Some of these are hard to find.I also started buying several chess and backgammon boards. The one on the top right of the first picture was not bought, but given to me by my father, who had it since he was little.

Forget the picks, I want to see the guitars. I'm assuming you have a bunch of really awesome one. ES335s and whatnot.

After going through somewhere around 80 guitars in the past 40 years, this is what I have now.

    '67 Epiphone Casino
    '88 Fender Strat
    '96 Martin D-42
    '94 Martin OM-28 PB
    '08 Kinnaird 000-12C
    '02 Taylor Liberty Tree
    '11 Taylor 414CE
    '79 Alvarez Yairi DY50
    '?? Martin Cowboy III

Some of what I wish I still had: Les Paul Goldtop Reissue, Taylor 912C, Larrivee with Mermaid headstock, Froggy Bottom with Mad Rose back/sides, Martin 0037-KSM, Taylor 314 (maybe the best sounding guitar I ever had), Memphis Blues Tele clone, Gibson Tele, Gibson Jumbo, Gibson Dreadnaught, Martin D-93, Taylor all-Walnut 12-string, any one of a half dozen custom guitars built by mostly unknown makers. The list goes on and on. Just didn't have room for them all.

I don't have any good pictures. I'll put up something in my earlier post.
