Can someone help me understand which is the Mora knife they are talking about. When I search Mora knives on Amazon, they list these companies. Are they all the same company or are these different companies, and then which is the best? Thanks,Ed
Mora, morakniv, Mora of Sweden, Mora of Sweden knives, Mora made is Sweden

Mora knives are made by one company . The keywords in search terms can be terminology used by individuals for simple description titles . Also there are many retailers that carry the brand through wholesale from Mora and Amazon may have many sub sellers of the knife and do fulfillment orders for the knife also .

Companion MG (Stainless). I love this knife, it's my go-to 'going-out-of-town' knife. Very practical, very affordable.

I think it has something to do with the price/performance ratio, easily available and the consistency of the quality.

Here is what I think what might causes the craze:

-low price point, even the 'higher end' is around 60(vs. some brand name knives that cause few hundreds, but is it 3-5 times a knife than mora?)
-comes crazy sharp and scandi grind is easy to maintain
-most handles are well rounded and causes no hot spot
-carbon steel model can keep sharp edge easily, and also could use for ferro rod striking
-very light weight and well balanced knife

Just for curiosity and to prove a point, I batoned my Mora bushcraft survival thru some hard wood for almost an hour(my arms turn kinda rubbery after that) and after a few min of honing on a Spyderco sharpmaker, it's paper cutting sharp again. And at 60 dollars, it came with a decent ferro rod, a mini sharpener and a decent sheath all-in-one, it's easily one of my all time favorite knives for outdoor use.

Is my Mora bushcraft survival the best knife there is? Very questionable. But does a Mora that cause 20-60 bucks worth it's price? I think most majority who owns one will probably say yes.
