This is the "Mora 2000" (or "Mora Mk2000") You can find an english review (amongst others) on YouTube:
And Sonorum: thanks for the additional info regarding other Moras! Thanks for that! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
That is an amazing knife. Reminds me alot of the Spyderco Ronin 2 only much nicer. I cant quite make out the etching on the blade through that awesome Damascus. Care to share some details on this bad boy?
It's from eBay sell cfk-sample-knives. The handle is black walnut burl. Their knives are 100% custom one-offs (at least that's what they claim.)
My fixed blades in their natural habitats: Camp/bikepacking knife: Made locally in Stowe VT by an old guy who I'm pretty sure is blind but still makes knives. Wife's anniversary present to me last summer. Workshop knives (top to bottom): Milwaukee duct knife, old yard sale fish knife, my first file-knife creation. Have an excellent day everyone!
Tell me more about both of these. By no waste, do you mean you made these from "old" metal? What were they originally? What is your process for making them into knives?
Hey great questions! No, they are not old metal. They are cutoffs from making full sized blades out of new stock O1 tool steel. I only use precision ground known metals. By no waste, i meant i try to use every last scrap from the fresh stock. My process includes my 1x30 belt sander, files, lots of sandpaper and alot of patience. Been at it for about 2 years and take every opportunity i can to up my skills. Heres my latest work in progress... 3"blade. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
