The top knife is a scandi ground KE Bushie, the lower knife is a convex grind Bushfinger. Both with JouFuu sheaths. I carry the Bushfinger everywhere (but church) on my belt and use it where appropriate. The KE Bushie will be a recreational/backwoods blade which I have not gotten to use yet.
I also have a Fiddleback machete which I need to shoot and post here.
Post photos of your Fiddlebacks here!

Here is my 16" machete. I have some work for it, but have not had to do the job yet. They are not finished to the same level as the knives - they are a tool!

Nice knives you guys got there :D

I really like those JooFuu sheaths, my next one is probably gonna be one of his clip-on sheaths (I don't wear belts).

I kinda want one of the black handled 12" machetes as well, but at the moment I can't really justify the price since I only use a machete one or two times a year.

I really love the Bushboot myself, and maybe one day I'll own a Big Sneaky as well.

This was my first & the only one I sharked myself, a eucalyptus burl Bushboot with a convexed grind:

Then came the scandi Hiking Buddy in trippy buckeye burl:

But it had a nasty encounter with a Rick Lowe sheath that wasn't properly finished which kinda ruined it for me (dye stains on the handle), so I ended up selling it when a rare grail that I was looking for for a while already was offered to me. This is a scandi Bushboot in dyed curly mango:

I would like to get a brightly colored synthetic handled runt. The camp knife is the other one I want but they're a lot of money - maybe the mid-tech ones would do, we'll soon see!

Those are beauties! The bushboot isn't a model I would probably buy, but I like your's!

Yeah, the Bushboot isn't one of the more popular models but I really like it anyhoe.

I don't know how much the production Camp-knife will be but it should be a nice option in S35VN, I'm hoping they keep it under 400$ or so.

I saw someone offering liners in different colors for the production knives too by the way, I think it was Whitty from USAmadeblades.

From the prices of the other mid-techs, I would guess it will be less than $400 - I hope so anyway!

I saw the liners. I was also thinking of the possibility of making my own scales for a production camp knife. They are projecting availability by Blade...

Under $300 would be REALLY nice! But, I think the camps are going to be more...

Yeah, 325 to 375 is probably more realistic, but we'll see.

Good luck on scoring a Runt you'll like by the way [IMG]

Thanks! Runts aren't very easy to come by. I have missed some just barely, and have passed on some that weren't quite right. So, still hunting... :)

Guys, just stop. Nobody needs a Fiddleback knife. They are ridiculous and I already have fixed blades that size, why would anyone need another? And seriously, does anyone need a knife that good looking? There is a point in which a knife is just too sweet. I can't believe any of you actually spent the money on these.

.... someone please agree with me so I don't buy one!!! I have tried NOT to pay attention to Fiddlebacks ever since I became aware of them. They are gorgeous and in that dangerous price zone of just a LITTLE more than I am looking to spend. Then you guys go and make this thread...

    Killer pieces guys!!

Check out the "Fiddleback Collections" thread in the Fiddleback sub-forum in Bladeforums and see if you really think you don't need one, or two, or .... :)

They really are special and worth the price. I have purchased a few other brands since my first Fiddleback, and I have been at least a little disappointed with every one.

You guys are awful. My only saving grace at the moment is my local knife shop doesn't currently carry Fiddlebacks... otherwise I'd be a dead man.

I'm just financially dreading the day I come across "that one" Fiddleback that I just can't NOT buy.
