My favourite lighter but I don't currently use it at all since it still has the original insert. I will get a Zplus eventually. Additionally, note the irony of being labeled as "punk rock" from the factory by a large corporation (lol).

This is the one that's been sitting in my pocket.

In addition to the Z Plus jet insert, I want to find a ultra small single jet lighter with maximum dimensions of about 30mm x 10mm x 90mm. Anybody know of any options around that range? I want to put it in my custom concealed utility belt but finding appropriate sized jet lighters is a more daunting task than I anticipated.

you are the first person i have heard make reference to this. this is exactly why i stopped carrying a zippo, and why i will never carry one again. right now i carry standard BICs, but i would like to find a torch lighter that works well and goes with my edc.

The zippo leg rash is caused by overfilling the zippo.

If it looks 'wet'/ saturated, the lighter has been overfilled. Here's an example.

To prevent this, fill your lighters upside down in the case:

Only fill until the cotton looks slightly damp- when in doubt, stop filling.

Let stand for a minute or so, and any excess fuel will empty into the lighter body.

Pour out the extra fuel, reassemble the zippo, light it a few times, and your good to go. Top off the fuel every sunday and carry some extra flints under the cotton, and you have a friend for life.

The safety orange looks cool! Nice work bugsy714!

Heres my trusty lighter as of lately. Its a 1933 Replica Zippo that was released as a commemorative item for Dragon Quest VII back in 2000. I just love the "boxy-ness" and "outside" hinge of the 1933 Zippos. Makes it feel like a tank :)

Copper lighter case (Bic insert) with CountyComm bead lanyard. I'm pretty pleased with how well the heat ano matches the case.

Yes, that works too. Allways fun to pull out one of those two, when somebody asks for a light. :)
