Top one only. HK 14250 Snody design by Benchmade. Solid little cutter!

Benchmade 630 Skirmish and 635 Mini-Skirmish. Love these guys! I was lucky to find them.

How's the grip and opening on the mini? The handle shape looks kinda Emerson-esque, and I like the beveled opening hole.

I like a bigger grip. The mini is a bit short for me for opening.
Something about the deployment arc is a bit cramped for slow opening.
Flicking is quick and easy if you get the right grip on it first (I need practice:)).
I'm used to a Spydie deployment hole, but have no problem with grip with the beveled deployment holes.
The handle has a bit of the gritty, Sebenza-type feel to it which helps.
But once open, then a very comfortable grip.
In general I like bigger knives and prefer the 630 over the 635.

I have some knives etc. from a few centuries ago. They were inherited. Does that count?

If they aren't made by the same producer in the same way anymore, of course that counts ;)

Here is my only discontinued knife. It is a Benchmade Benchmite 310. Blue titanium scales and a 154CM blade. It has to be one of my favorite knives.

Very nice set. Really appreciate the captions. Always look for captions; but especially with discontinued blades, it helps because they can be hard to find references to!

A Herter's Improved Bowie from the late 1960s, less than $2 at the time. 1095 steel blade, holds an edge very well. I've dressed deer with it and used it as a kitchen knife after my divorce. Its just keeps going and going.

I have to agree with aliaspostmortem that the McGinnis Summa is a highly underrated blade..

Spyderco Gayle Bradley folder and Zero Tolerance 0561. Snapped each of these up quickly upon hearing they were discontinued.

The Wenger Ranger, I like the big and chunky SAK: that saw is 105mm (4 1/8"), the blade is 98mm (3 7/8"). They where replaced by the NewRanger series, the Rangers are often called the 120mm (but they are bigger) and the NewRangers the 130mm but the tools on the 130mm are actually a bit smaller (blade 95mm or 3 3/4").
