May I suggest this thread from long ago: https://www.edcforums.com/threads/lets-see-some-casebacks.132788/
My (timely?) acquisitions, @ 09:05:25: As an update to the previous post, just happened to be doin' some errands near a jewelry store (and wearin' the "old & busted" Relic, just 'cuz - yet didn't think to have the "new hotness" handy in the rig in case the opportunity arose to get its band adjusted), and dropped in to have them check why the watch wasn't keeping time well (since the last battery was < a year old). The person came back to say the battery was still at full charge, and that he went ahead and cleaned the contacts, sayin' that, if that didn't work, then I could come back and figure out if it could get repaired (I mean, it has been dropped a few times, whoops...). And? It's workin' like a Timex, or somethin'. So, when gettin' a shot of the watch last year @ ~ 14:54:34, 'twas just a guesstimate of when it sorta looked like the hands almost trisected the face. Well, since then, I used Elgoog to find out that some folks actually attempted to answer the same challenge (when, if at all, were the hands equidistant from each other?)*, and found out that 14:54:34 was actually one of the closest times. The tied-for-1st option? 9:05:25. So, just had to get a shot then as well. Anyway, 'twas fun to see both of 'em doin' what they're supposed to do & share it (not that the image is all that spiffy and although there's still human error in setting the times and takin'/framing the shot - 'tis crooked and outta focus, yay...). *Some folks did some calculatin' to figure out when the hands were at least close to equally-spaced around the face, and it was cool to see that 2:54:34 was one of the closest values (though it can look/be closer with a sweeping seconds hand), since I was just guessin' what looked close, and picked that time independently. & what's fun (well, imo), this thread was started 14 years & a day before I took my shot. If interested, this guy went into more detail about his conclusions, while this other summary was sorta, "it depends", since what counts as the "best" solutions are still subjectively-based on whatever conditions are sought...
You have a beautiful collection of watches sir. Question regarding your avatar name and picture. I tried to Google "Elmiro Dungfoot," and there's not much on the internet to reference, other that it referring to some dark cartoon character. Furthermore, who exactly is that actor or cosplay individual in your avatar picture?
Well, @Bad Company, you're sure good at gettin' folks interested in topics, even if they're tangential! Lettin' Elgoog do the work, it looks like @Elmiro Dungfoot's (current) avatar is of Sidney Noel Rideau, and yeah, seems like the username's referring to a comic book character from way back when.
