“Knicks and dull edges are abominations, so use knives and hatchets for nothing but they were made for.” – Horace Kephart, 1917
Of course I had to anodize the Skagen's back plate, how else can I Check if it's Ti without holing it onto a belt sander and watch the darn bright sparks fly? Why two-tone ano? Well, because. And this way I can read the writing, yeah. And natural grey Ti looks boring to me anyways.
I don't own this yet, but I thought some of you guys would like these. There's a shop on Etsy called "OriginPins" with slightly-smaller-than-credit-card (5x7cm) Titanium plates with laser engraved countries of origin. There's also California and Hawaii separate for some reason, and a marathon based thing too.
Just rec'd and posted the photos as I'm traveling this week. The fit and finish is dope. I got it for a secondary blade to EDC in my coin pocket of my jeans. It will get more work opening bottles than anything else. My 1st impression is good; no buyers remorse... I have one of Brian's pens and on another forum I have gotten to chat w/ him. My experience with him has been positive. I recommend you get one, its Ti after all ...
Dangit! I was just about to say there finally wasn't something in your collection I was jealous of. Is this the 154cm version?
