Paper change is easy: you pull on the last ring of the wire until you can turn it, make 15 revolutions with the wire and all pages including front and back Ti plate are loose.
I remember some calculations and if I bought a plate of 2500x1440mm (roughly 100"x57") it would be around 180 euros on materials. Per notebook. But also the laser cutting is pretty expensive. And around €45 per spring/back/wire thing.

I made it to fit A5 paper, perforation is a standard Multo perforation, so you could use any paper you like.

That's still a decent price for a better made notebook thing. Great idea you had.

I can't help it. It doesn't function any better then the 15 billion other Zippo's on this planet, but I do like the Titanium one really a lot. Stupid but true. Must be some Ti-addiction?!!

Mine says on the bottom A 03, would that be a January 2003?

^^ This one would look very cool in a 2 or 3 color anodizing...

And the polished surface would be even brighter then the one below :)

    Hello Adahn,:wavespin:
It looks like that by a reflection of the light but the snap hook is natural color. The surface is well polished.:D

Yeah, I got that point, I just mean that your snap hook would look cool when anodized with multiple colors and my clip would maybe win from being high polished first. But I'm happy with the result so I leave it as it is, for the moment :giggle:

I see, sorry about that I did not bite your talking.

Did you make the multiple colors of the clip of your knife by yourself? I have been thinking the clip have multiple color from the first. It's cool.

Yeah, I anodized it myself, wish I had more Ti to anodize as it's so simple. The handles and the clip were sprinkled/spattered/[insert correct term] with liquid glue and then anodized with four 3V batteries, after removing the glue again with three batteries. The clip was dipped quickly and because I had a wrong thinking I thought I could make a contrasting rainbow effect (the quick dip gives you the color from a lower current, only after a second or so you get the real tone) but of ccourse when the glue was removed the lower current anodization god whiped a bit. But I like the bubbly colors from the quick anodizing.
The pink/golden part was done because the tip of the clip was too pointy, so I sanded it off and dip anodized it with 90V (or 10 batteries). Turned out nice IMHO, you should try it once, all you need is a scrap piece of Ti, 2 gator clips, minimum 9V batteries, Soda and water. And plastic/latex gloves would be helpful against a little shock, too ;)

(On this pic the clip has its original shape, the screws are not heat colored, yet and the lock pins are not polished/heat colored.)
