I also agree that the ZT just feels less heavy duty in hand and its that reason I haven't been giving mine much pocket time. I carry both 3.5 and 3 Hinderer's
Ni Nice matching pair you have there Is the spanto completely sterile? I am digging that look. Now, if only I could find a sterile DLC, that would be pretty sweet
Yes Sir its a sterile blade! How do you like the Eclipse? I have been eyeing a few on BF but just not sure I'll like the Tanto blade...
I had some time to read in the book and I must say it's worth every (Euro-)Cent as long as you can read German. Very much info about historic folding knives, from Sheffield to Great Eastern Cutlery, technology, samples. Yeah, I very much like it so far The only thing that I'm missing on the shown production knives is a price range, but in the times of everywhere-internet that's not a big issue
Nice. I am eyeballing a sterile 3.5 spanto right now and am having difficulty not pulling the trigger, but so far resisting. I am just hoping someone else picks it up before I cave, because if I see another price drop I will likely grab it (and It is already a very good price) So far, so good. I don't have an XM to compare it against but can't imagine it being worse than an XM. It is solid, feels good in the hand, and does cut like a darn. I don't mind the tanto blade at all, I've carried other knives with tantos and they work well enough. The biggest problem with the Eklipse right now is a lack of different hardware. The clips interchange with the XM's, but nothing else does.
It's the mid-tech Stubby Razel he released just before Christmas. I haven't taken measurements yet, but it is quite small.
Thanks SixString, I did some internet searching after I saw yours!!!! Awesome! Maybe this year I will pull the trigger and have a semi-custom built. Sent by tin can telephone!
The top drawer of my new 7 drawer knife chest... will make a thread about the chest itself when I get more pics tomorrow.
Nice pic. Details on the Woodlore clone? <<< Even when the world is at peace, a gentleman always keeps a blade at his side. -The Strategies of Wu. >>> <<< Not all that wander are lost. -J.R.R. Tolkien >>>>
