Got talking with the boys at work over a few beers this afternoon.
And as usual the conversation turned to EDC & soon enough we all popped out our folders for a bit of size comparison (if you know what I mean......) ;)

If you would please, tell us what the pouch/knife sheath is in your top photo and where it may be acquired. Thanks.

How do you feel about the CRKT Shrimp? I like the design, but I read not only good things about it...

Sure... It is an EDC Survival Pouch from Skystorm Learherworks. It will hold the Esee AH-1 Arrowhead in a small front pocket, an Altoids tin in the main pouch and either Esee Candiru, Becker BK-13 or Esee Izula/II on the back. (The Izula is tight, but it fits.)

Well, I have mixed feelings myself. The pros first: It is an unbelievable sturdy knife for it's size, takes a quite good edge and holds it for a good amount of time. There is no blade play whatsoever, fit and finish are exceptional. And it is a very social knife because of it's size and style. There are a few cons: the lanyard holder is basically some thicker wire just clamped in. The knife fell of a couple of times when I had it on my keychain. To put it straight, it is next to useless. I actually lost it. The pocket clip is quite stiff, but works ok. The most annoying thing about the Shrimp is it's micro recurve style blade, which makes it quite difficult to sharpen:

(Note the slight curve of the blade close to the handle)

My overall opinion: it is kind of a nice knife when you love two to three finger knives like I do and in that case you really should have it in your collection. If you are just looking for a small sturdy knife, I think you are better off with a Ladybug or a Manbug (not the lightweight variants but the one with the stainless steel bolsters).

Thank you for the nice review :)
Actually the one that I've found on eBay looks better, nonger nail nick and somehow nicer finish.

Hmm, maybe I just order this little one again, that I gave to my mother as a pocket knife:

It's the WL3-401, frame lock, tip up and Titaniumoxide coating. One version in rainbow colors, one in gold.

Maybe I'd stonewash the blade, I don't like mirror finish for an edc knife. Maybe the handle and the clip should be stonewashed, too, could be interesting for the coating. But well, the f+f is just like on the 710, wish they'd make that on tip-up.
Oh, the logo is a phoenix, at least that's what they say ;)
