I was too when it made it into my hands!! :lolhammer:
the artwork is placed so well it's still recognizable but gives it a camouflage look. I've been looking at Striders, very $, but amazing. The AUD versus the rest of the market makes it hard to afford. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure. There are good deals on striders to be found for sure. Of course this one is a little more elaborate but you know they are built solid as a rock and will last you a loooooong time! I didn't just fork out for this one. I had to sell some of my other great knives to get this one. A sacrifice quite worthy though!!
Made a carry knife for a buddy at work over the weekend. I got a kit and just played with it until it looked like a knife.
SBT 882 for scale:
The other side:
It's a 2.4-inch AUS-8 blade with an OAL of 6.2 inches. OD green micarta with brass pins, I shaped it to look kinda like an old skinner and threw some filework in to help the driver steer the knife with a thumb and forefinger.
I thought the green material and the filing on the handle scales lent it a reptilian vibe.
My newest addition! Thanks so much Scott(LZ)!!! :woohoo:
Raid-Ops LJ3CLAW or BKA- Little John 3 CLAW
My newest sharp, pointy object :lol
My latest .... Barkies from JSB's.
The Gunny is an amazing knife. Bottom knife is a Bumble Bee.

I got your sharps right over here! Sorry.
The only time I really take pics is when I put a few up for sale. If you click the link you can see a few of mine.
One day I'll try to take pics of knives that I am actually keeping!

I haven't posted in ages. In fact, I had completely forgotten about the forum until someone mentioned it to me earlier today
Anyway, here is all my stuff...
Removed because no longer needed
In order to prevent any more confusion on the OP's intent, this thread is merged with "Show us your sharps." Thanks.
When he wasn't busy with the Offical EDC Forums knife I had jryan76 make some scales and a kydex sheath from my Spyderco Mule. I'm very pleased with it, carried it for almost two weeks and hardly know it's there. In the picture the sheath isn't finished, he added a tek lock and rivets.
These are his pictures.
My Spyderco Lava. First good knife I have ever purchased. Had other cheapos in the past. Looking to start a collection. Hopefully get some nice pieces eventually.
Great choice. The small Spydercos, with very good steel (like VG-10 for your Lava, and for my Navigator, as well), solid locks and excellent handle designs, are wonderfully useful knives. Congrats on a such a good choice for your first "serious" knife.
All my best,
