Keep us posted on that Pike's Peak. I like how it looks, you can't beat the price... but I hear mixed things about the blade steel. Let us know how it hold up over time. Thanks!
I only carry it to work occasionally and really never put it to any hard use so I probably will not have much to report. Liking the style and seeing it in the bay for a small sum prompted me to acquire it. Their choice in steel is one area where they were able to cut costs
finally took delivery of a 580 barrage. the handle is a lil' more slick than i'd like, but the axis-assist feels solid (and a bit faster than than the nitrous-assist).
That was/is my only concern when I looked at them online. Hope they offer some other handle options (inlays?)...
Here are a few of mine. Top-fixed blade is the Brave Heart by Cold Steel. CRKT M16-10KZ under that. Left to right below that are two I made-green handle and the yellow fixed blade, Salt I, Victorinox Ruby Signature, Wenger Backpacker II, Leatherman PST. Then on the bottom is my Trail Guide and the Large Voyager Tanto point. I kinda like Cold Steel. Forgot a pic of CRKT Dogfish. It was right in front of me. Doh!
Nice pics STi, I asked over on your other post for some details on these knives. Could you provide me with a link to where I can find out some nice detailed pictures/information on these? I have a buddy looking to get a nice knife like those(they are nice aren't they?) Thanks Take care -Matt
