This is my current EDC pocket knife, from Trevor Ablett;
Very slick Ian!
Here is mine from Ben Cardoso: It is the sharpest knife I have ever owned straight out of the box/packaging. Thanks again Ben! :roof:
Heres the pic of my Leatherman with a NexTorch T6A from my first post.
Not bad! I love my leatherman blades as well.
Its OK.I was lookin at ours local E-shop and they also haven´t it.
Here's a few of mine: (top to bottom) Sog Spec-Elite II, Spyderco Endura, Spyderco P'kal
Ontario RAT-3 Limited Edition
Got this Kershaw Baby Boa for Christmas, just took me forever to take a photo of it.
Red Horn, that's a nice-looking RAT
Rams Horn handle
Nice! I love my little Baby Boa....sweet little knife!
Here's my latest addition:
A Benchmade Axis 710 designed by McHenry & Williams.
I saw it in the display case the other day and thought, "Wow, that blade shape sure is beautiful!" Then I picked it up and felt how it had such a great feel and balance. So I bought it. I really do have a serious addiction! It's one of the very early editions because it's marked ATS-34 which I don't think Benchmade has used in quite sometime. The new ones are now 154CM, D2, or M2, but I figure ATS-34 is still a pretty top notch steel that will work for me. It seems to take an edge pretty well. It has the steel liners instead of titanium, but the extra weight seems to really give the knife it's perfect balance. G10 scales that feel pretty good too. It's also quite a big larger than all the rest of my knives. When that blade snaps open, I'm still shocked that it disappears into the handle, it looks about two inches longer, but just an optical illusion. For a second I thought it might be too big, but it rides in my pocket pretty well. Doesn't feel much bigger then my other under 3" EDC knives. All in all, I think it'll be a really nice addition. I've been carrying it all week and so far, I'm in love!
SOG Flash II.
My newest - Not sure if I like it. I saw many Positive reviews on YouTube...but I'm not so sure its something I want to hang on to. The handle is a bit too bulky and cheap feeling.
nice, love that handle
Nice sharps shown all through this thread. I need to gather all mine up for a big picture sometime soon.
Finally got all of my latest sharps together! The kershaw 1600DAM and Hyper came from trades. I've had the cardoso for about a month now, and just got the Spyderco Bug in the mail today with a couple more on their way.
Here's an image of all of them together next to a small ruler for size comparisons.
Up next is the CLB design Hyper which is by far my most favorite knife with a deep set pocket clip. It has a nice belly in the the blade along with a flawless liner-lock. No play in the blade at all when it is opened.
Here's a close up of the Kershaw 1600 Damascus. Just an awesome knife, plan on getting more of the damascus line that Kershaw has to offer.
A custom made Ben Cardoso Bean knife. By far my favorite user knife. It's small but thick, one-hand opening and closing, and the sharpest knife out of the box I have ever owned.
And a few pictures of my most prized knife, coming in at $5.71 is the Spyderco Bug! Just like any other Spyderco except miniature! I am currently wearing this around my neck with a ball chain and I can't even tell it's there! I have a couple more on the way from New Graham Knives! Great service, responded to emails quickly(first time dealing with them) And they chose the best way to ship(not necessarily the cheapest but usually cheaper than the shipping they offer on the website) My price was quoted a few dollars above the actual cost but I was charged the actual cost! Most companies wouldn't do that!
Here is a picture of the bug next to a AA battery.
Thanks for looking and if anyone hasn't picked up the bug yet then I suggest you do, especially because of the price and the Spyderco name.
EDCDepot has them for $7.50 which is a little over what I paid for mine but Marc/Sharpdog(EDCF name) has excellent shipping rates which is where you will save compared to New Graham even though New Graham shipping rates aren't much higher.
I got to say, that I have edced my flash 2 for three years, and use it constantly. Love it, won't leave home without it. I have many "better, more expensive blades" but the flash is light, fast, and sturdy!
