Believe it or not, all of those except the two largest CRKTs at the top were bought used. I have been really lucky to score some nice gently used Grahams for some pretty ridiculously low prices. There is no way I could swing all those customs otherwise. For instance, the Tanto I just got was someone's EDC and had some nicks in the edge and a couple scratches that don't show in the photos. I cleaned it up and introduced it to the sharpmaker, and it is fine now. They are all going to be used, so I don't care that they have been used. :)

Hey Daywalker - Don't hate me, I have a handful of *coms too! lol. Ya know I love ya, braddah!

I do have a lot to say about the Emerson CQC-12 Comrade, but here are a few pics to start. It is a large frame lock folder which is half Ti, partially serrated , satin finish, black clip, black thumb disc. More so comfortable while wearing thin gloves, such as Mechanix, but not too bad otherwise. Not impressed with Wave, it is not as if you take out knife from pocket and the blade opens up no worries, it is a skill that I can do without. Nice looking, bought from knivestown, has a few small 'pits' or scratches, again very small. Expensive but a cool and useful blade. 8/10
Also, I opened the blade and banged the back of it against a chair with a coat over it. while holding the bottom of handle. Maybe a dozen times, hard. The effect? Lock engaged MORE! Impressive.

I've got 3 knives coming in this week (Trance, SubClaw, Endura w/ Wave) and once those come in, I'll have to post up my little collection :)

    Somewhat related topic!

How can I get my paracord to wrap like that around my CLB? See below.

Point me to right direction, please?

DB - you're gonna love the Captain! I am loving mine that I just got in a couple of weeks ago. You should drop some trit in there and make us all drool... :smitten:

I did a mod I saw on bladeforums - really simple buff of the clip. Enjoy!

Yeah, I love it so far. One of the things I initially liked about the Captain was the look of the prototype...it had a polished clip too. Been trying to decide if I should mod mine too. ;D

Just a quick and snarky criticsm of Spyderco's printed 2009 catalog....isn't the guy who designed this named Jason Breeden? In the new Spyderco catalog it says by "James Breeden". I'd think that if you were a Spyderco collaborator that kind of inattention to detail might sting a little! Of course, I could be off base, and maybe Jason also goes by "James" for some reason. Either way, I have WAY too much time on my hands. It's just something that leapt out at me while reading through the catalog.

I have not looked a Spydercos for a long while. Wow . I can easily see getting a few this year. A serrated Sheepsfoot for my brother the sailor. Maybe a Pink Native for the GF and with so many cool styles to choose from, who knows what for me .

Received this Queen City Canoe slipjoint yesterday. It has beautiful amber worm groove bone handles with 1095 carbon steel blades. This is the Cozy Glen SFO. I think 2xTap would really like this knife! ;)

I'm afraid I can't look at that knife too much....over exposure could lead to collection tangent-osis :idiot2:  :idiot2:
