I liked it right out of the box--haven't had a chance to drag it around yet, was a homebody today--but if my Alias 2 is any indication, I'll love it!
I really noticed something in the group shots. MANY knives don't look as though the grip on them would inspire great confidence.... I have been toting this one as it does inspire confidence.
Did you cut the flipper on the Enlan el01? What is that on the Ganzo g704? Looks it has something on the blade. Enviado desde mi unknown usando Tapatalk 2
Yup, the grey Enlan's flipper is cut off to make it legal to carry in Germany. It's a fairly cheap knife and therefore totally acceptable. I performed a little experiment on the G704. The lower portion of the blade is reground to make a slight convex edge with a V-bevel. It works out pretty well, although I did not at all put effort in the finishing
Maybe you should remove all the matte finish and polish all the blade. Regular 800 grit sandpaper will do fine Didn't know that wasn't allowed flippers in Germany. How you open it without the flipper ?
As a man, you grow up and away from toys and move onto other things. Tools, Knives, Mortgages. However, a Masterpiece Grimlock... that's a man thing.
Because I can, and I actually enjoyed taking a photo with Grimlock; another group photo. He's really aggressive!
I open it with two hands. In Germany, one handed opening knives which lock (one handed opening slipjoints etc would be totally fine) are completely legal to buy carrying them in public is illegal (unless you have a very valid reason).
I've had this material for a while now. But, I have had no time to use it! I made these today. Can you see the texture on these? It feels like felt! It's hard to get a lot of the detail to show in the pics with this light.
