If that's a Benchmade 3550, I've had a chance to grab a used one for 40$ here in my small country, from a lady who had no idea what she was selling. Unfortunately it had serrations and a black blade so I passed on the opportunity
Soo many hundreds and hundreds of dollars of Titanium and high grade steel blithely stowed in a 99ยข thrift store for shame! hehe
A few fixed blades: L to R: - SwampRat Rodent Solution: Trying to convex this thing and it is somehow proving to be a challenge. Feels super in the hand however, confidence inspiring in use. - Bark River Fox River: By far the sharpest knife I own, and has been the easiest to sharpen. I need to find it a proper sheath. Skinning duty. - BK-16: Tough as nails, stripped and convexed but seldom gets any bush time now that the F1 joined the team. - Fallkniven F1: Love it. It's my current bush knife, takes care of my needs very well. It's easy to maintain and rather rust-resistant. Character marks are a bonus. - Scarpyard Scrapivore: Cannot get myself to use it. Did not come sharp and I'm having difficulty sharpening it to my liking. I'm sure it would be a swell blade if it would be razor sharp. In my experience, the Izula has been a better choice for my needs.
Keeping things simple. The Bullnose hasn't left my pocket since I got it. Gotta keep them fruits in line.
Crappy picture, I apologize. Sadly, I did not have anything but my phone at hand. The realization that this is not even all my collection and that I have sold quite a number of knives in the past weeks makes me think about my addiction
Is that BMK Brend Combat Talon I spy??? Very nice one That's one high on my hit list for sure. Along with the 914FS... Oh, and is that a 930-1201? The recent Russian LE Ares??? < me drools > That said, all solid choices there, though.
For $40? that's a bargain if the action was good. While I am a diehard Satin PE fan, I still would have snagged to for that price.
Started a thread about this one , but figured I'd throw a pic in here for the hell of it . Benchmade push knife.
