    4) The Awful:

Case Russlock Magician's Knife. " Dale Earnhardt, Jr., 88"

This is a horribly evil little knife. It's hard to open and nigh impossible to close with one hand. If you welded a dull razor blade onto a mousetrap, you could replicate the action of this abomination (and you would end up with a safer, more practical cutting tool). I didn't realize when I obtained this "magician's knife" that it would require weeks of diligent practice to master the "trick" of opening and closing it without drawing blood. It's ugly, too.

Wow! I don't know what the difference is between the journal Russlock and the magician one is, but mine is great. Easy one hand open, though not fast. easy close, and coming from a lefty, that means something and mine is very sharp. As for looks........ well, let's just say they take some getting used to lol

Hey Kamm, the answer is yes. The item being Cerakoted must be disassembled. If you're thinking about your Solarforce, they aren't hard to take apart. There is a video on the Solarforce site that showes you how to take the switch apart.

Taking apart is easy with most things it's the extra parts you have left over after the reassemble thats the problem!:D

I'll take the XM @ 400 if you ever want rid of it.

    I'll abuse it I promise.

If you want something similar that is actually an excellent bottle opener then a Pulltap is they only way to go.
I wouldn't classify them as a knife really, but it does have a foil cutter of course.

If you need a sommelier's tool this Tappan Zee is a bargain at under $20
I picked up mine at a grocery store and it is surprisingly well-made for the price.
You can't tell from this photo but it has the little serrated foil cutting blade too. [IMG]

For a brief moment, I'll own all three! But the black one I'll be giving to a good buddy of mine. :)

Is it bad that I like the black one the best? :frantic: Must be the dark side. ;)

Are they all the same thickness? and same size lanyard hole? The nifebrite was much thinner than the redneck.

The nifebrite is way thinner then the other two. But the lanyard hole seems to be the same size? It was all around really tough to stick a piece of Paracord through there. Compared to them all the nifebrite is my favorite since it feels so great in the hand.
