    Don't know much about them, other than they're made by EKA (the new ones have a rubberised handle - this one is nearly 30 years old), they've a solid lock, hold an amazing edge and used to be favoured by the Royal Marines (It was an ex-RM who put me on to them). I tried a forum search without too much success and what I did turn up was years old.

    Be real careful with that my friend I have seen many posts where the handle breaks while throwing . Head goes one way handle goes the other.

    Thanks for the heads up. Probably the only use this is going to see is splitting kindling and taking down brush.

    It looks all wrong, a Husqvarna hatchet. I did visit a house once with a Husqvarna oven.
    Seems like it all went downhill for Husky. I raced a 250 and a 460 Wade replica back in the early seventies when they made the best motocross bikes on the planet.
