This just showed up Polled Damascus Spontoon Hawk
Two knife blades? Why would you want two identical blades? I know two is supposedly one and all that, but still...
That's why they call it Carver, mate.
Having you daily a Pioneer in your pocket (if i'm not wrong, may be ?) you know well that a 93mm large blade is fully capable to hold up a daily use.
If you want instead an alox for carving, this one has doubled large blades, a saw, an awl, and a pruner's blade.
What else needed ...
Indeed! Still, I would rather have two different blades in a carving knife. One 93 mm and a small spear point for detail work, for example.
Vader has Zero Tolerence for your collections.
i think you have then two different blade's options: a Settler (big an small) or a Pruner (big and hawkbill) as a light solution in a single layer.
Or a Carver, if you'd like to have a saw and an awl in addition to those...

They may not be the most expensive blades but most all of them serve a purpose. The only ones that wouldn't see much use are the small Sheffield's, old boker straight razor and the two auto's. Other then that the folders all see time in my pocket. The fixed blades are all useful as I spend a lot of time in the bush. The SAK's and Leatherman are invaluable tools.
It's funny though how the same ones always seem to get more use or go with me heading out into the bush. I really like the BK17 and Mark 1 but it just seems like my Mora, 110 or Rat1, SAK or Leatherman and a axe always seem to come with me.
Plus there all replaceable without to much crying if lost or damaged.
