The Al Mar SERE is a shade longer, but the 4 Max is wider. One more suitable to piercing, and the other for cutting.

There was a very narrow one, once back in the day. There is a faint memory of it being called Silver. You know what I’m talking ‘bout? Sent from my Glade Air Freshener

Finally got around to doing a first group shot of my little knife collection. This has been cobbled together over the past 6~8 years, mostly in order of acquisition (starting from the back. The Vulcan actually came after the X-Ray, but only by a few months). All pretty much budget, except for the Spyderco. I'm trying to be good about not overdoing it, despite finding myself attracted to so many knives being made today. Eventually I want to have something in the $300~400 range. But for my uses at this time, I could really get by with just two of these (the Vulcan and Warrior D2). It's just nice having a little variety. The Spyderco was my self-gift for an upcoming birthday (got it on steep discount due to very minor flaw). It's such a beauty.
