Real Steel Cormorant CPM154, my real Everyday carry knife I love it! And my first expensive knife with stainless steel damast, I've bought over 20 years ago. [IMG]

[IMG] CRKT Large Jettison fun little blade I sometimes carry in the coin pocket of my jeans as a small utility knife in conjunction with a large tactical folder in my front right side main jeans pocket. Way slick handle but something about the design I just connect with aesthetically.

[IMG] I will always have a CRKT Carson design M4-02. Love the tuxedo look of the white bone handle scales with black G10 bolsters. Very sharp and well executed upper and lower jimmping on a raised thumb ramp and liner lock release. Very nicely textured thumb studs actuate the spring assisted blade. I love spring assisted knives. Tip down pocket clip actually works well for me as I usually carry this knife in the front coin pocket of my jeans. Blade design is very functional and sturdy with about a mid line hollow grind with a small top swedge. It all comes together for me in a very cool small utility blade.

I'd look for something like this in a better steel and tip up. The Fallkniven PXL Ivory Micarta fulfills the first requirement but not the second. Anyone can point me in the right direction?

I had something that looked like that when I was in college... it was part of my 'edc' at the time (although back in those dinosaur days we didn't know the term 'edc').

As I recall we called it a 'scalpel'. Heh heh heh. ;-)

A surgical scalpel doesn't look anything like that. I assure you.
