I like to show some more pics of my new chinese knife I found on gearbest.com ... A flipper with ceramic ball bearings in AUS-8 steel - the Harnds Talisman CK9168 ... The Specs: AUS-8 steel satin Handles black G10 Linerlock Flipper with ceramic ball bearing flat grind Length closed: 122mm or 4.8" Length open: 212mm or 8.4" Blade length: 90mm or 3.5" Blade width: 26mm or 1" Blade thickness: 2,8mm or .11" Weight 136g or 4.8oz The screw head looks like the "H" of the Harnds logo from on side. But torx from the other side so you don´t need a special tool. Lanyard hole and deep carry pocket clip. The position of the pocket clip is not changeable. I like it because I carry my knifes in the right pocket tip up and don´t need additional not used holes in the handle. I think a lefty won´t like that. G10 backspacer. The handles are not textured but neither polished. I like it. The grip is OK but can be slippery with wet hands. The blade is not 100% centered but I think that is OK. Liner lock. The liners are beveled at the flipper and the flipper ... ... and the spine of the blade got nice jimping. No jimping for the liner lock. I miss that a little bit. Logo and Harnds Knife & Tools on one side of the blade ... Talisman and AUS-8 on the other side. Holes in the liners for weight saving. I really like playing with the flippers. I think I opended and closed it a million times and I just got it Nice big handle but I have huge hands. Maybe the handle is too big for very small hands. Scope of delivery: Knife, plastic bag, box, piece of paper. That´s it. Some other knives for comparison. Starting from the top ... Real Steel T101 Thor Harnds Talisman CK9168 Linerlock MSP Manly Comrade I would definite buy it again although it is double price than Ganzo or Sanrenmu knives. Only one problem: It´s not legal to carry in Germany without a good reason ... but sometime I don´t care. Have fun!
I'm considering this peanut in gray sycamore. Our local sporting goods store is shutting down and has it on sale for $42. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
@Barbourman04 : I know I'd buy it! Looks beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen these scales on a Case (or any other knife) before! If you don't already have any in the peanut size, you'll find they're quite useful. Much as I like Spyderco, I'm continually amazed at the various knives they make to ensure compliance with knife laws that restrict size and/or locking in places such as the UK, Denmark, NYC, Chicago, etc. So many of the traditional knives, especially the peanut size already meet all of those criteria! Heck, if you decide you don't want it in your collection, PM me. I'd buy it off of you! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Yeah it really caught my eye. I plan on getting it today. I edc a benchmade in one pocket and old timer mighty mite that my grandpa gave me 18 years ago in the other. Little knives like these will always have a place in life and are fun to collect. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
Outstanding! Enjoy it in good health for many many years - hope you can hand it down to your grandson! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
