I'm back!!! Its been almost 3 years. Met some girl and got married and just didn't have time to spend hours looking at all your tempting pictures of cool stuff. Bought a house too, dunno if that's related to not being on here and buying shiny toys? Anyway, my Eagletac D25a Ti stopped working. Came on here to research lights....... Aaaaaaand, now I have 4 new flashlights and 2 new knives inbound. You bastards! Its not a proper post without pics. Its already been posted but its the right pic for my comeback post.
Beautiful dye job on the PM2!!! If the camo scales looked like that, I'd buy 3! Now, that's got me thinking...buy a camo PM2 & dye the scales blue...that would look cool! Nice work, atf58! ETA: what did you use to dye the scales?
Thanks StormShadow Its not really that dificult to do. Here are some good pics of a blue dye. http://imgur.com/a/YUcKo *not my pictures
It's a biiig Peter Rassenti SNAFU. The blade is 4.25" long and the handle is just a bit over 5". It has a 2 tone blade with blasted bevels and hand rubbed flats, running on GTC bearings. It's an integral, meaning the sides and backspacer are all 1 piece of milled titanium (notice no screws). I've always wanted an integral and Peter does it pretty darn good. It's a big knife, but it flips like a mofo - and my god, the noises this thing makes.
