There is, of course, the show us your sharps thread. How about a thread just of knives we had customized, or customized ourselves?
i ground down the thumb studs on my Kershaw Leek. no pictures yet. instead of a 3 tier thumb stud, i ground it down to just the bottom, fattest part on both sides. that's the only part that is needed for the knife to function, and the taller studs were getting caught on the inside of my pocket when i tried to quickly remove the knife from my rear jeans pocket.
From the left: a Leek, a Cryo, a Vantage, an Enlan, and a Junkyard. All with filework and when necessary some bronze inserts acting as coin and key shields.
I dont like serrated blades so I put a plain edge out of a sentinel in and a Swiss Bianco pocket clip on red scales. I know I've shown it before but.......
My 0560. Scale swap and a Willy D bead Kershaw Damascus Skyline. Scale swap and I made a G10 backspacer for it. Opinel #8. Smoothed, stained and linseed oil for the handle. Satin tumbled the locking ring and ferrel, and a forced patina.
