In my opinion no they are not sharp at all, it has very good ergos actually. The gimping on the top is strange but works well. The gimping that is used is on the scales, the gimping on the blade is for aesthetics only because it is on a rounded part of the blade that your fingers don't touch. You are right the lines and the harpoon shaped blade make for a aesthetically pleasing knife. Did you notice on the pic for the clip side it uses a steel lock bar insert?
My last Kizer... a collaboration between Kizer and... Gemini Without a doubt one of my favourite EDC knives for now! I doesn't only look good it cut really good as well. Not to mention that it is light weight and smooth in the pocket. / J
This knife seems to be popular! I wanted to get one... then I looked at my collection and after losing count after 50 I decided not to... yet.
Those are nice looking knives. Matt Cucchaira (he is a custom knife maker) did a mid-tech with Kizer, the Dorado, as well as other custom makers.
Looks like your transaction went well. You sound like a happy man, I take it that it you approve of your new Gemini?
First world problems But I feel you, when I got my TiLock there was a wooden box on the pictures and in the description but it came without it because "that would cause problems at the customs" Sadly I confirmed the receiving already so al I got was the offer for a lousy 5% discount for the next order, yeah right.
Sorry about that. I want sure what all should be included. I did purchase mine directly from Ray though, might be part of it.
And here is my first in the new Vanguard-Series. That means a little bit less titanium and more G10 . Also VG10 instead of S35VN and a linerlock compared with the originals framelock. Both lower price but also more grip and not as scratchsensitive. A little bit more of a worker is my first impression. I'll be back with a review of some sort when I carried and tested the knife properly! Kizer Intrepid, Vanguard-Series "V4468A1" / J
