I'm sympathetic, sorta. Which is why I am a very heavy subscriber to a dual strategy: (1) what they don't know won't hurt either of you; and (2) when they DO find out, its always more effective to seek forgiveness rather than permission. Now, granted, 'forgiveness' can be an elusive thing to pin down -- you may be 'haunted' 30+ years into the future (just about guaranteed in my experience, (depending on how you are now...), but at least you'll have the item you decided you wanted! Sadly, I hate sleeping with one eye open, and my wife watches way too many forensic files and similar types of shows, so, it was safer to not buy the Tag. Not to mention, the lack of sex would have been long.
@Captdave13: is that ^^ synch time by radio? The indicator on the watch face to the lower right sort of suggests it receives a signal but unlike my G-shocks that do this the watch isn't labelled as 6 band radio control. So I'm curious... It is a sharp looking watch and I really like the clarity of the display! Wear it for years in good health! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
It is synch time but, it is a pre multiband 6 technology G shock. It is designed to only receive the signal from Fort Collins in the US. Other watches of the same model were specifically designed to receive only the signal from Japan or Europe etc...this is the “mission impossible 3 watch” I love the large digital display and the bracelet is incredibly comfortable. Thanks for clearing that up. I guess that if one were only wearing the watch in US, Canada, maybe 'northern' Mexico, that wouldn't be an inherent problem. Kinda hurts when you travel to other continents though. No wonder Casio moved to the multi band 6 tech! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
G-Shock G540D. All metal (mostly). I just picked this up locally from the original owner. It's a cool watch but I am on the hunt for a Gulfmaster. Sent from my LG-H870DS using Tapatalk
Used to have an Edifice, loved that watch, the battery died, couldn't find a shop in my area that could replace the battery properly
Sorry to hear about your Edifice. My Casio Edifice EQS800CDB-1BV is solar powered. As long as I keep it charged up, it should be good to go for a long while.
Most "Solar" powered watches have either a battery or capacitor that the solar panel "charges". Eventually they will have to be replaced at some point.
