My baby. Rocked timex for a decade before I switched to this in December. Couldn't be happier.

It's growing on me actually, even though I haven't worn it yet. I found it at a great price and bought it without really thinking too much about it. I have toyed with the idea of collecting all of the Master of G series, I have the Rangeman and Gulfmaster so would have to add the rest. Frogman, Mudman, Mudmaster, Gravitymaster, there are others but those are primary ones I would be interested in. I don't really collect anything but I like watches and like G's. It's listed for sale on another forum and if it doesn't bring my $ I may just keep it and start the collection.

@Colt Seavers, I know you have a collection of G's. How about a group shot for us wannabes? I'm sure there are others too, let's see 'em!

I will get a group shot taken at some point over the next few days. I don't have that many compared to a lot of the collectors out there, but more than a "normal" person should have, or at least that's what my missus keeps telling me.
I'm very jealous of the new yellow Gulfmaster purchase you've made, i've had my eye on the yellow and a black/blue version for sometime now, and i don't think i should be buying both of them. Just need to make my mind up and choose one. I have all of the Master of G's with the exception of the Gulf (as mentioned) and the Frogman, i'm not sure i will ever get a Frogman, i've never quite understood why they fetched so much money.

My guess is that it was the original Master??. It's also the ugliest IMO, it would be the last one i get just to fill out the set. Although, the new D version with depth meter is kinda cool. I don't want a big pile of G's but the Master set would be nice. Also, if you have a TJMaxx near you they often have G Shock's at ridiculous prices. That's where I bought the Gulfmaster. I'm anxious to see the group photo.

This is a good reference site for the Master of G series for anyone that is curious.

It is the ugliest isn't it, and i don't think the functions are all that, but hey, who am i ? lol
Living in the UK it's TK Maxx over here, and they don't do G Shocks, i'm very jealous you can get them from your stores. If i'm not being too nosey, how much did you pay for it? I'd be in there all the while checking out the stock. hehehe
I will hopefully get the pic taken at the weekend :)

TJMaxx doesn't always have them but if you check regularly they will often have them. The usual Diesel, Michael Kors fashion watches are always there but I've also seen Movado, Seiko and Citizen too.

I'm keeping an eye on the G-Shock and Pro-Trek ranges to see if they bring out a "SAK" do it all watch with GPS functionality that adjusts to all 40 time zones. I was so p'd off when I couldn't maintain home time and one of the time zones not covered by my pro-trek... Only a half hour difference but it bugged me that I'd spent money on a watch that didn't fully live up to its ubiquitous image...

I know some watches with GPS are starting to come available but the ones I've seen so far look to be specifically built for use with certain Android phones (i.e built in obsolescence).

I do like the GPW1000-1A but I'm probably going to wait for a model with abc & tide functions.

    Cheers

    Dave
