Say, how do you find the display in lower llight conditions, mine is the same display and I find it awkward most times, have to use the light on the watch.
A little hard to read and i have to use the light. I do wish Casio would rethink the way they did the light on this watch and go to a dual LED light to light up the watch face. Other than that this watch is awesome. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
I'm new to the tough solar scene and just wondering have you had to replace your battery yet and if so when did you? Thanks.
So about 5 years ago it started acting like a watch with a dead battery (numbers would go out when illumination was turned on) even though the battery gauge said full. So I did the logical thing and went and bought a new watch... I mean what good is a dead battery if it's not an excuse for a new watch Anyway, my old watch went in a box. The battery in my new watch (non solar) lasted a pathetic 2 years. So I pulled my old watch out and set it in a window to charge. It charged up and has been fine since. Although the other day it was under my jacket all day and between that and the dark the night before the battery gauge read low by 3 in the afternoon, but it charged back up relatively quickly. So it has been without issue, but I haven't changed the battery and it still functions. Sent from my HTC6545LVW using Tapatalk
Yeah I have a GW 500 something and it's 9 years old and I never ever wear it and it has set face down without light for a few months and I took it out and set it under a lamp for a few hours and it was back up. Also Citizens are very good too. I have a watch that I stopped wearing in 2011 after my wife got me a Victorinox Chrono for Christmas, it had a crack in the crystal and it sat buried under all kinds of junk for the past 5 years then last year I took it put and just being upright in on my dresser for a few hours kickstarted the battery which by now I think the watch is 14 or 15 years old. So I said all that to say the batteries they use last a while and will recharge after a long while being dorment. Sent using an overpriced phone plan..
@stockae92: GACK! Sorry. Uncontrollable physiological response. Interesting to see it has carbon fiber in the strap? Really? Moshe ben David
Found this in a pawn shop, anyone know if this color is a special edition or something? I haven't been able to find much info on it.
Found this one in a pawn shop yesterday, now it can be my everyday watch as it was cheap and already a little dinged up so I don't have to worry about putting the first nick in it.
White G-Shocks are very nice. They just require more TLC as the white finish tends to acquire stains and discoloring from everyday wear. Good luck and enjoy your new watch.
