I'm a big fan of field watches, but as of late I've been going with my G Shock pieces. Latest purchase is my DW-5600MS (pictured here). I swapped the bands with my DW-5600E though. So far I'm liking the negative display. Next on the list for this watch is the orange and black replacement Casio strap, PVD coated bull bars and a bezel from a 5600E ("Protection" and "G Shock" in white lettering).
I've got both - will see about getting a shot of them next to each other tonight when I get home. They're about the same size, although the King seems a bit bigger because it's square-ish instead of round-ish.
Thanks for this, I appreciate the effort. They are both gigantic, leaning towards the rangeman for the additional features but may have to find one in person to be certain I can pull it off. Thanks again for the pic and nice watches BTW.
No problem bud! I have fairly skinny wrists but once you get used to it (doesn't take long!) They don't feel that big. Actually feels strange to wear smaller watches now.
Here's mine: Wish I'd gone for the normal screen instead of the reverse, it's not great in anything but perfect light, although I'm pretty used to it now It was very annoying at first. On a related note, does anyone have any ideas on how to the get the dirt/salt/grime that accumulates in the sharp edges of the case out?
I use an old toothbrush and mild soap. Rinse well and call it a day. Oh, and it took me a week or so to get used to my negative faced G Shock. After that it's not so bad.
I don't have it to show yet, but it's on its way to my house! I got the G-Shock GG-1000 MudMaster in tan color. Can't wait! First G-Shock for me!
