I don't own any G-shocks. But there are only two I would buy. And below is the one I wanted. I tried it on and I have HUGE wrists and hands. This thing made me look like I was 90 pounds. If it's good enough for Henry Rollins, It's good enough for me (although he wears an older different colored version)
Some Nice G-shocks for sale here, and hes a cool dude so BUY dammit.
This is what I had....
I am down to two watches now. The black Mudman 9300...middle row in the pic, to the right of the red and below the orange. Also still have the Orange Timex down in the bottom left corner. I have found that I like the larger GShocks, but hate dark negative displays as they are difficult to read.
I miss having some watch options now that I don't carry a cell so I may add a few more GShocks. Currently looking at the G8900SH-2 and GD350-8
Favorite watch to date
Oldie, but a goodie.
I've been debating if I should grab one too. I am curious. I like big watches like the JSAR and all, but I keep hearing this thing is too big. Let me know what you think when you get it.
I've had many over my life but only have these left...
I had a 9300 but lost it in South America. I'm in the process of acquiring a new one...
This would be my favorite watch of all time if it had a light instead of relying on glow-in-the-dark hands. Atomic + solar forever.
It's my favorite. I wear mine almost everyday!
I should have my new one on a week. I cannot believe I was dumb enough to lose my last one. I was really torn whether or not to get the 1JF model with atomic time!
I just got that exact watch on Friday... I really love it! I tend to wear my watches loosely, so you do feel it if you are bending your wrist backwards a bit, but not too bad at all. I want the orange version, but they are really expensive now.
Here are the G's I have taken wrist shots of so far.
Finally got a shot of my king....

Five Eyed Mudman is such a classic!
Thank you for posting the pic... I saw the mute indicator on yours and it inspired me to actually dig out the manual to figure out how to mute mine. It is different than most models, so I thought it was un-mutable!
My Trusty G-Shock, had it for well over 8 years, only changed the battery once, been every where - beach, Pools, Mountain, Snow, you name it.
Worn most days.
