Sorry for the late reply, my friend. In my sample at least the glow is definitely less than say my Seiko Turtle when fully charged, but still very readable and very useable. Like @Gary Gross said, the vials are very small, but definitely bright enough to use in low or no light.
Officer Survival Solutions. They have several different ones. This one isn’t much bigger than a deck of cards and has a Compression Bandage, SWAT T Tourniquet, Compressed Gauze, and a Pair of Gloves. They also have one with hemostatic gauze. If you do decide to oder something, you may have to call because when I ordered, the order page on their website wasn’t working right. http://www.officersurvivalsolutions.com/products/earthquake-kits/advanced-bleeding-control-pocket-pack-detail.html
Regarding Luminox: As I am sure many of you know, the comparisons used on the related posts are apple and oranges; two different technologies. Tritium tubes in a watch will never glow as bright as charged phosphorescent paint (LumiBrite, superluminova, BGW9, etc). Titium will glow continuously for years without needing to be charged (radioactive decay baby!), but will put off a softer glow. Luminous paint like Seiko's LumiBrite will glow like kryptonite after good charge with light (UV) but will slowly fade over time becoming unreadable at 4am, whereas tritium will be legible; and appear even brighter with dark adapted eyes. Another thing, painted markers generally take up more area than trit tubes therefore able to emit more light based on surface area alone. It is kind of a turtle vs hare analogy. Luminox generally uses T25 tubes in their watches which are rather small. If you want an upgrade look for T100 tritium tubes or better yet tritium flat tubes. If I can take decent lume pics I will post comparisons, but don't hold your breath.
Here are a couple pictures to show what you are saying. My EDC pouch has a tritium bead (balanced on duct tape roll for visibility) and the corkscrew on the SAK has luminescent paint. Picture when just took out of pocket with bead visible but corkscrew doesn’t glow because it hasn’t been exposed to light After shining 200 lumen flashlight on corkscrew for ~15s. Also glowing is the tip of firestarter that is in place of toothpick which is also luminescent. Update: Just went back to check and after 2 hours, the luminescent paint on the cork screw is not visibly glowing any longer.
Big fan of the Tactile Turn Sliders...the bronze looks great, but too heavy, so I got a Titanium since that weight is the sweet spot for shirt pocket carry & use for me, personally. The Gliders are great, too, I'm sure but again a little long for shirt pocket carry.
