    The usual.

Military instead of PM2 and G26 instead of G19 today. Still in love with the thrunite warm pen light. I wish surefire would make a 2xTitan. Pen light form factor just cannot be beat for EDC. And for those true flashaholics - my 11 year old arc aaa p is still going strong on my keys :)

I have been doing it for the past 6 years and absolutely love it. The key is finding pants with pockets that work - most do, but jeans for the most part do not. I work from home and have two kids under 4 so pretty much live in truspec shorts and they are perfect. But it carries fine in standard khakis as well. If I'm wearing clothes that don't work with pocket carry, I'll switch to my G19 iwb which is what I usually carry when I have to wear pants and look nice.

I am a fan of pocket carry and have (and still do) carried a sw 642 that way for years - it is better in the pocket due to shape, but not by that much. Definitely not worth the loss in capacity.

I bought a G42 and 43 when they came out thinking they'd be better for pockets, but honestly the difference was negligible and absolutely not worth the trade off for 11 rounds of 9mm and the ability to carry a 17 round G17 mag ad a backup. I am dug deep into the Glock double stack platform. They really are the best.

I have some GAP industries floor plates that add a little hook on the end to make pocket drawing easier and they are great. Not sure if that company is still around, but people who love the g26/27 generally love the gaps as well.

I like to carry the biggest gun I can depending on where I'm going and just dress around it - so it's usually a G26 or G19 90% of the time, even though I own about half a dozen guns that would work for a ccw role.

So to answer your question, I love it :)

If you know the Glock trigger already then the 26 is a no-brainer. If you have the 19 or 17 it's also a no-brainer due to mag compatibility.

Thats a tough call compared to the shield - but I think they are different enough - again I think it all comes down to the platform you're most comfortable with... The Glock is definitely thicker, but you get a lot more capacity and having a 17 Rd backup mag is just comforting.

Also the trigger will be better out of the box - not sure if you put an apex in your shield, but I've always thought that goes without saying for all the sw m&p line.

If youre looking to compliment your ccw rotation, definitely get the 26 - if youre looking to replace the shield, the 43 may be worth a look ad well since it's more comparable to the shield.

If i only had one gun, really the 26 may be it. Small enough to ccw all the time, low recoil, accurate (a lot of guys shoot them better than the 19), tough as nails and 11 rounds of 9mm would never make me feel like I didn't have enough gun. Plus you can buy a factory 12 round mag that gives a fuller grip and there is no loss of trustworthiness that you get with some aftermarket mags. Plus it can take the 19, 17 or 18 (33 rd) mags.

You should definitely get the 26 - if you love your 36 then you'll like the 26 as well.

The good news is if you get the 26 and hate it, you can generally resell for almost no loss. But I guarantee you'll love it.
