Another "just because you gotta have some fun in this lifetime" EDC post, have a great weekend fellow EDC'ers!!!!!!!!
"Yes I am a pirate, two hundred years too late
The cannons don't thunder, there's nothing to plunder
I'm an over-forty victim of fate
Arriving too late, arriving too late"

Nice! Went to my first Jimmy Buffett concert last year. It was a blast. Going again next weekend. I guess there's a little pirate in me too.

What Benchmade is that?
Do you tend to obsess about the layout of the gear before you take the pic? I do when im at home. I take several pics before i end up choosing one that's right. Awesome gear and pics as usual, have a great weekend
Why is pirating addictive?
They say once ye lose yer first hand, ye get hooked!
CV801, Knew there be more Buffett Pirates around. Love your pirate EDC, great minds think alike!!!! You better be careful you'll not only be a pirate but 2 JB concerts in 2 years gets you labeled a "PARROTHEAD", LOL. Greatest thing about Buffett concerts to me is all the people and the range of all ages are represented. Been going to his concerts since 1978, so 38 of them this year.
Colt Seavers, Thanks on the pics and I absolutely obsess taking multiple pics from different angles and different lighting but I always leave something out I meant to put in, today it was my cigar cutter & ALOX Cadet. I usually go through all the pics and delete everything I'm not planning to use. Then photo editing software & watermarking. All my photos are either taken on my iPad Pro or iPhone 6 Plus so I'm not using pro gear but I feel both have more than adequate capabilities particularly with editing software.
On pirating and getting hooked LOL, read my post over on my thread today. It gives the particular reason for me but another verse of "A Pirate Looks at 40" sums it up for me.
"Mother, mother ocean,
I have heard you call
Wanted to sail upon your waters since I was three feet tall
You've seen it all, you've seen it all
Watched the men who rode you switch from sails to steam
And in your belly you hold the treasures few have ever seen
Most of them dream, most of them dream"
We all dream of those treasures the oceans hold and tales of the sea long lost to history revived. Have a great weekend!!!!!
Its a mini Barrage from their custom build page. Had it about a month now and love it.

Thought you all might like this info...Artist Howard Pyle is credited with creating what we all know as the pirate look.
He is also well known for his illustrations of pirates, and is credited with creating what has become the modern stereotype of pirate dress.
He was a native of Wilmington, Delaware, which is a stone throw from me. I've also had the pleasure of seeing his work in person and it is something to behold. Delaware Art Museum is where you'll find his work. Highly recommend!
Holliday, I have seen his work somewhere before just can't place where. Seems like he may have done some artwork for some turn of the century pirate books I have packed away in the basement. I'll have to check. I know Wyeth did at least one of them. Just read the Wikipedia page, love his art and he taught some exceptional students, Wyeth for example. I'll have to check out the museum one of these days. Thanks for sharing!!!!!!
My pleasure, sir. Glad you found it interesting.
Appreciate all of your fantastic photo contributions in this thread and beyond. Great attention to detail!
Holliday, Thank you sir!!!!! Love your avatar BTW, Tombstone is one of my favorite movies and Doc grew up south of Atlanta so always felt a kinship to Val Kilmer's portrayal of a Georgia boy turned legend out west.
