I've not had issues scratching leather with any clips; I have snagged some woven fabric couches before at a friends house (I felt bad about that) but it's no more an issue with the light than it is the knife.
hi treypulley, glad you like it! this is a project i did with an old indian knife i had just laying around, so one day i decided to give it a makeover, i used the dremel to inlay some sterling silver pieces i had left from an old bracelet and a couple of medals to the handle, then i added the green stone to the tail with a twisted brass bezel welded to the body, and tinted the wood of the handle with a dark wine tone... the final product was very nice and solid. as to how do i carry it, it came with a cheap black leather sheath with a belt clip. next step is to change it for a custom brown carved leather one, someday... here are a couple of pics before i did it:
Left front: keychain, space pen and light clipped Right front: moblie(cell)phone, wallet(thin front pocket number and knife clipped Back left: empty Back right: handkerchief Well that was when the pic was taken but things change depending on what is being carried and what is being worn. Would actually but annoyed if I found the perfect setup/carry tomorrow, half the fun is searching.
either a mini barrage or one of those pardue autos? woooahh blast from the past i had that same little PO box bank when i was a kid! thats gotta be in my parents basement somewhere i should go find that.
