They are nice, but too... shiny. Even the stonewashed one. One of the things i have admired from afar on his custom jobs is the surface treatment. Dull to the point that they look like they have been carved from granite with a dull spoon. And the hard lines are gone! Left is soft airblown ergometric comfortableness. The blade retains the grind and shape, but the lines are not defined ('Cut' as a bodybuilder would say). Maybe a blackwash version would come closer? Or have they made that allready and i haven just not seen it yet? I know the Intrepid is also made in a green G10 that looks...sharper. But look at me being critical, truth be told I would be thrilled with any of these. Its is just the call of the wild custom knives beckoning me. "But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and a Laconico full custom is the sun" Sadly I could never afford one of those. *sigh*
My EDC! Just got the spirit a few weeks ago. Been a leatherman fan all my life, I live 5 minutes away from their factory (the tour is really cool if you ever have a chance to go) almost feels wrong to have the spirit but its so much nicer than any of the leatherman tools I have had! Most important thing here? Chapstick by far.
First day carrying the mini grip with the new deep carry clip and already scraped the paint off of it
Arise, fair Laconico and kill the envious Kizer! I see what you mean, i still like it. Bit of a fetish for ti lately, I'm going broke from it. The intrepid seems like a bit of a beefcake for me, i like some big knives but 6 oz....eh. Borderline too heavy for my taste.
Question I can't answer.. Windwolf care to enlighten us please? wouldn't mind knowing myself. Thanks!
According to metalgear.wikia naked snake uses his survival knife for food and regular attacks, while he uses a smaller knife on his chestsheat for CQC.
