Nope, smartphones are stupid (ohohoho). The phone that I have is waterproof and dustproof, takes and makes calls, sends and receives texts. The internet is interesting to a degree, but not all day every day. Even if I did have one, I'd have to use wifi at home as I'm out in the stix, and it's rubbish as it seems to not be able to travel through granite walls well. Pretty much everywhere else I go other than the shop is out of phone reception, let alone 3g/4g/whatever they are.

I'm also a facebook/twatter/everything else refusenik, so it'd be a whole lot of money to spend on the ability to receive an email every other day.

The suspension clip is a Gamblemade. He included 5 round split rings and 5 of those oval ones with it, which was very nice. Hard to open the oval ones though. The flashlight is a Klarus MiX6. The belt is a RattlerStrap design- being there's a company called RattlerStrap that sells such a belt on Amazon for 100 bucks, but you can get 100 feet of paracord for 10 bucks and the same Titanium buckle from NoNickel for 40 bucks. Plenty of tutorials on Instructables and 7 hours of braiding.
