Please correct me if I am wrong, but aren't Sebenza's, XM-18's and Striders considered small production knives? I ask truly because I am not sure.
not truly a custom, but haven't seen much similar from Al Mar....this special edition (133/200) Al Mar was a prize for early entry fee drawing to the Chevy Truck Sportsman's Team Challenge years ago... smaller blade style similar to a Randall #1
They're considered both mid techs and upper level production knives. The term mid-tech should apply to knives that are partially made by the original designer and partially made by others, but there are many cases where that isn't true and the original designer did nothing with the exception of some assembly.
