Recycled pic, close-up of a bead made by Skeleton purchased from the forum store:

Attached just above my work badge, gives the lanyard a lil bit of balance while looking better than a simple loop. :p

EDIT: Just thought I should mention: the cord in the pic is Type I accessory cord, NOT Type III paracord.

Which one do you like better? Which looks better? I can't decide which one to use and if I should use the blue para or switch to black it gray.... Ugh EDC decision ;)

Please don't say the bean bomb, just b/c it's a bead bomb, haha.

Bead bomb is nice but the other one goes with that light a lot better imo

As much as I like the beadbomb I think the other bead matches that light better

Thanks for all the input guys! I agree with you all the blue paracord and silver bead look great with the light I found some old cord in my dresser right after that post and came up with this... What do you think? This is my first snake knot.

If you're into wooden beads I'd suggest looking up Tibetan (or buddhist/buddhism) 'prayer bead' (-bracelets) on the 'bay (wouldn't worry about sacrificing a religious item as the ones on Ebay are just fashion accessories).

Nice...check out insert nuts and drill bit stop collars. Plumbing has some nice copper couplers and whatnot.

Ya I looked at the compression couplers but they did not have a size I wanted. I'll have to search the local Lowe's as well.

My only bead. I do like it, but I don't think I'll be buying another. Rather save it for my next MUST have....

I'm still surprised how expensive simple metal beads are! The market is flooded with skulls so they are dirt-cheap but a nice, plain metal bead comes most of the time close to the price of a pocket tool...

This is what i like. I have never done any paracord items
i think i may now and there's a bucket of loose sockets at the pawn shop.
i'm picturing black para and a tiny chrome socket.
