Show us your 5.11 bags

Think I'm going to order me a Camelbak Max Gear Bottle Pouch in Coyote as this looks to be a good option the only problem being nobody in the UK seems to stock them so it looks like I'll be ordering it from the good ol' USA Does anyone know if this pouch will take a 40oz Klean Kanteen fitted with a stainless flip-d ring cap?

 

My RUSH24... Right now rather empty, since everything is in my Pelican S130, but I'm transferring stuff back over to start my 60 hour shift tomorrow

 

Just sold my 5.11 MOAB 10 last week and I kind of miss it already, but I haven't carried it at all since I've got my TRIAB 18.

 

You guys are really starting me to wish I had kept my Rush 24 that I sold to fund my Synapse 25.

Love this pack. I have a MOAB 10 and I think it's the best pack I've ever had.

 

My All Hazards Prime is my favorite of the three, but my MOAB 10 serves its purpose as a FAK/jump bag for my truck very well

 

Sadly no pics, but for the first time over the past two days my multicam Rush 12 got put to work in one of its intended uses--bag for my new part-time job. It went well. Both my partner on Thursday and my partner on Friday saw my bag sitting on the rig, and immediately came to find me to ask questions about it and ask to see it. I showed them all the features, and both have decided to buy a 5.11 bag of their own within the next couple of weeks.

 

I am thinking of buying a rush 12 and a rush 24. The rush 24 will be used as a vehicle/ Get home bag. It will stay in my car.
The rush 24 will be used for work and daytrips. But..I can't decide what color to choose!
Fde or sandstone?

 

FDE is funky lookin, go with Sandstone for sure!

 

I like sandstone, but not all of their molle pouches are offered in it. I'd suggest looking into anything you may want to color match and attach to the bag and find out which colors they are available in, and then go from there.

Any love here for the Side Trip? I've been using mine for the last year and a half for work and find it FANTASTIC! I carry my laptop and accessories as well as a bunch of other EDC stuff AND it has a "James Bond" compartment for those loud and sharp things we're not supposed to have at work.

 

Thanks for the advice. Hmmmm It's a shame not all of their pouches are offered in Sandstone. I have just been watching a video review of the rush 24 in the color Sandstone. It looked great! Great video by the way. Made possible by TactiqueAl.

 

my rush multicam and Rothco medium transport pack getting some stares at great wolf lodge niagara!,most guys have their typical hiking packs so my tactical gear stood out!

Thanks for the advice. I've been having doubts for quite some time. I think I'll go with Sandstone. If the color dissapoints me I will give to my brother as a present. I just hope he won't be reading this any time soon.

 

Alright gang, here are a few shots of my Rush 12. I've tried a lot of packs in the past, Sitka, Noatak, Camelback, North Face, Synapse and others not worth mentioning and this is the one I've gotten the most mileage.











This p238 fits nicely in the top pocket.





As you can see, a lot of room more stuff. I usually use it for a couple of night of travel
