Picked this up about 2 months ago from the storefront in San Antonio. So far I'm absolutely loving the bag for my uses, it's been perfect. I haven't seen much on the bag so I'll probably do a review this week for anyone interested. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

My Rush 12 and my wife's new watermelon cooler backpack, which she deemed a "no-brainer purchase". Fun day trip to Fire Island.

    Here's my EDC 5.11 RUSH 12.

I love this bag, it's so useful and now that I've replaced the zipper pulls it works a lot better for me. [IMG]

Journo-if you have paracord left i would recommend doing a carryhandle reinforcement. I did it as i thought it would look cool but its a god send if i need to grab it quickly

Hey guys. Been thinking. Do 5.11 still make their dink bottle pouch? If not what are peoples recommendations please?

    Thanks in advance

Hi, I did actually try this but it just ended up looking messy. I've watched quite a few YouTube videos on the technique, but it seems beyond me.

    Any tips?

I have the 5.11 bottle holder. Meh. It's okay. A 32 oz Nalene fits snugly. I just find it's not very versatile. I also have an insulated one from netcosy that is falling apart, wouldn't recommend that either.

Comments on the previous page in this thread suggest the Vanquest Hydra bottle holder. I might get one myself...

Journo-i followed this video and once i found the rhythm of doing it it was easy. I admit it took time and its not as nice as it could be but it does the job and it looks good

_mg_ - wow im surprised about that. 5.11is normally brilliant. But anyway ill look into the vanquest hydra. Thank you for the recommendation

Thanks Tony, I'll check that one out, I am currently debating changing the colour of my paracord, I have some red but seeing Earthdaddy's green paracord I might go with that.

Journo- here is my rush 24 in double tap. First thing i did was swap out the zip pulls. Then i found that video for the carry handle wrap. And this is the end result. Its far from perfect but i did it and im happy with it so to me its perfect lol! [IMG][IMG]

Ah thanks for that, looks like I might have to buy a new one in Double Tap now, this is addictive!

The bags or the tricks with the paracord? As im addicted to both!!! Here are my xray duffle bag and my push messenger bag.

The only bags i haven't done are my 5.11 excursion bag and my dads covert18. as the excursion has no zips and nothing that can be swapped for paracord. And the covert18 is my dads and hes not interested in having the paracord zips

The bags mostly. I was just looking at the All Hazards Nitro because it looks like I could carry my helmet without having it banging around when I run. But the paracord thing is addictive too lol.

The rush series are pretty spacious. I managed to pack weeks worth of clothes in my 24 when i was in America last year and the size was perfect as a carry on.

Then a month later it packed a weeks worth of clothing for Scotland (and it packed enough gear for 3people to hike up ben nevis)

Id say have a look at the rush 72 that will carry most things you can think of... My friend has one and he uses it to transport his ar15 too and from the range (he thinks carrying it in a gun box will cause him issues, as people know whats in a gun box no one knows whats in a backpack)
