Paracorded my grab handle on my 5.11 also. Black moab 10 has a black and glow in the dark handle now.
I completely destroyed my 5.11 24 not long ago The whole top is torn off its just hanging by threads I'll try and post pictures later on to see if people here think it's a complete write off or what i should do with it but I'm pretty sure it is I've never seen damage this bad to a bag and didn't expect my favourite 5.11 to blow up like this

I would send them some pictures and tell them what happened. They are pretty awesome at CS. They might replace it. Or at least give you a good discount. It burns when I tapatalk
Really I've never done anything like that It seems warranties are so much different south of the border here in canada We're usually on our own I may try that Does it matter it didn't come right from 5.11 at purchase?
A place called gorilla surplus They're out of vancouver Im sure if i contacted them they'd say contact 5.11 I may have tried once with another product somewhere in the past I just know its a huge runaround to get anything on warranty From my experience here in the great white north anyway
Well I can't find anything about gorilla being an authorized dealer, but there are a few around the Vancouver area... Maybe you just realized you got it from one of those stores? If you did get it from one if those stores, they have a lifetime warranty.(if it was bought from an authorized dealer) If you do a little looking on the store locator on the 511 website im sure you can find one to bring it to. Or you can call 511 directly to get an rma to send it back for replacement. It looks as though it will qualify. It burns when I tapatalk
Well thank you for your advice Because of your comments I've emailed customer service to see what they say What have i got to loose right Repair here would cost as much or more than a new bag and it would never be the same so I'll give 5.11 a try and see what they say
