Well used, and while it doesn't look like it did Day 1 (but it holds up EXTREMELY WELL) .... the craftsmanship is undeniable. No busted seams, no tearing of the fabric, it just WORKS after years and years of daily use.

Edit: Just for random browsers, this is the S-Shield. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

@Melders: just curious (& nosy!); why the S-biner on the SAK given you carry the SAK in the Skinth?

I'll second the praises for the Skinth S Shield. Hat tip to you Melders, it never occurred to me to carry a spare aaa until I saw your post. Thanks!

Thanks! I've also added tweezers, safety pins and a razor blade.

    Thanks!
After I accidentally triggered the tailcap on my Preon without noticing and was left with a dead light, I knew I had to incorporate a backup just in case that ever happened again.

Thankfully it hasnt happened since, but its peace of mind, and it just happens to fit PERFECTLY alongside my space pen. Problem solved!

Looking for a suggestion. I own a skinth 2xl that I use for other things. However I am trying to figure out a new way to carry my vehicle keys and some small edc. I have a keyless entry Ford Explorer fob 2017 and all my keys are on a key bar. I still need to be able to get at the key fob and the key bar but it is nice to have them in some sort of skinth while out and about. Any recommendations? Does anyone have these two items and could share how they might fit inside a skinth. I am thinking an XL shield or a plus might work.

    Thoughts appreciated.

I just bought a wave to carry instead of my surge for when I'm not a work. I've looked through a lot of pics in this thread and have a question that maybe someone can help me why. Do none of the shield model for the wave not have enough room for both bit cards? When I look at them on the website, they all say one bit card. I can't understand this. Why not make the slot big enough for both? It's not like it would have to be that much bigger and seems like it would take next to no extra material. People could still carry just one if they wanted to but would have the option to carry both. As much as I like these sheaths, only carrying on bit card will probably be a deal breaker.

@Wildcat14: give Skinth a call. Their reputation is that they will customize. Maybe this will open their eyes to a possibility of a new product!

Sorry for the late reply... i use it for quick retrieval from the skinth! I could probably use a paracord lanyard to serve the same purpose, but i just threw this on there years ago, and it stuck. No real reason or preference other than that really.

@Wildcat14 as a follow up to @Moshe ben David (Shalom btw), You might ask Skinth if they would make you a First Responder III. They don't appear to carry it anymore, mine is from 2014. Here's what's in mine, with room for more if I wanted.
    • Leatherman Wave 2 (the one with the flat sorta hex-bits)
    • 4 Sevens Quark QP2A-X 2x AA Flashlight w/ Clip (no longer made)
    • Knipex 6" 150mm Slip-Joint Pliers (86 03 150) Mini Pliers Wrench (link)
    • Sharpie
    • Leatherman Bit set (both panels)
    • spare keys
    • Nitrile gloves
    • Victorinox Classic SD (link)
I was working on putting together a review but it seems they don't stock it anymore. I may post review anyway.
A google search would give you some pictures like this one & this one.
