I got my first Skinth!
Belt carry? The EAB will be the the tricker one to accommodate. I know for sure a P2 will work if you are looking for pocket carry.
Yes sir, belt carry.
Hello everyone! stumbled upon this place when i was trying to see what size/type of skinth would be right for me when it comes time to upgrade. I'm an audio engineer and carry several small things (though barely anything compared to some here!) and my Skinth has been invaluable.
I get ragged on a lot by friends; being called Batman for having a utility belt, Ha! (Skinth, caribiner, flashlight, phone, etc.)
I've been using a Skinth L-Shield for quite a while now. I originally bought two, because I had never heard of the company and wondered how long they would last. A year and a half later, I'm still using the first one, and it looks like I'll be moving to a larger one (possibly Skinth OG) before I even consider having to use the spare.
Don't worry, the moment you want to sell the spare, it will find a happy owner. Fast.
Finally, after weeks and weeks of waiting for new registrations to be accepted and drooling over everyone's posts here I was able to register and join in the fun!
As someone who works in the Canadian film industry I'm constantly carrying a variety of tools and other toys for LONG hours. I'm hoping that the collective wisdom here will help me select the Skinth that's just right for me. Pics to come soon!!
Skinth Trailblazer arrived! All I need is for the brown truck to deliver a few boxes so I can complete this kit. I'll need to order an XL or Magnum as well.
And than you'll need more gear to fill up the Xl, and than you'll have too much gear, and will buy a Catch all, and then you'll need more gear to fill it up, and then…
I'm already in this situation.
Got gear, got skinth, got more gear, debating on buying skinth, still buying more gear...
Here's what I've got so far in the Trailblazer:
Surefire E2D//6" ZW A2 Clip-It Pry Bar//1x4 Deluxe Technician Screwdriver//Leatherman Charge Ti

Okay folks, let the learning curve begin. I promised pictures of my current set up and load out so here's my first attempt.
God help me.

I would like to order a L Shield bit I wanted to check to see if the flap can be made wider?
Based on the M Shield I already have I wish the flap was roughly 8-10mm wider on each side. That would almost cover the side pockets. I don't know what that measurement would be on the L Shield.
The M-Shield is pretty narrow, the L-Shield's flap is 2" which covers the side pockets partially.
Hey, fellas, I'm kinda new around here. (I came from a different EDC forum, because I've been lurking here and decided I like this one better.) I've been checking out Skinths for awhile now, but I don't know which size I would need. I'm looking to belt carry all of the following:
Tube of chapstick and a lighter
Fisher Bullet space pen
What do you think, guys?
You'll want to look at a Skinth OG of sorts. The Fenix is out of scale of the other items, so it maybe tricky to be covered in the side pocket of an OG.
You can also look at a 2XL or Mondo shield if you want to have more minimalist feel.
Super fast shipment, Metro. Thank you. Fits like a charm.
Hi. I'm a new member here, but I have been watching the forum for some 5 months now. As I started obtaining parts to my EDC, I purchased a SkinthOG, a TC7notebooklet, a M7toolet, and a SkinthXL. I find them invaluable for organizing and carrying my stuff... Once I get set up to post pictures, I'll post some here. I'm currently waiting on a tpad to install in my notebooklet. I'm hoping the coil of the tpad won't be too big.
You do great work Eric - thanks!!
Came home and found my Skinth (L Shield) in the mailbox. What a great thing to come home to! Loving it except one small issue... I don't have enough to fill it lol. My LM Wave is awful lonely in this roomy little sheath. Now I need to figure out what I want to add to it.... thinking I need to find a good flashlight to start with, then who knows what else! Always up for (affordable) suggestions. Thinking maybe a bit set for the LM, a flashlight, then who knows?
