Nope, they are neatly squared away in one of the small drawers in my tool chest :)

The Beerplumber looks like any other Surge when folded :)

I imagine I could probably help, but since they rivetted, they are much harder to mod.

I know! This is before I owned a MUT, I still use it around the house a LOT. Fixing things, hammer things, we live in a 100 year old house and everything needs fixin'

Thanks everyone for letting me show off, MTO has been privileged to see these come alive via build threads:

Yeah. Gerber use to offer that service online some years ago, where you could pick and choose which tools you wanted and view it as you built it. It would be great if someone did it again.

    Metroplicity,

I really like the ST300 Jaws into that Surge. Did they require any fitting other than removal of the bolt?

Not very useful but it is unique.

I care not that it's not useful. I do care how amazing the scales and everything is pretty.

Oh yah, you need to remove the springs that lock the blades in place when the handles are open. Like I wrote on the build thread, I unceremonously broke them off by grabbing them with another Surge, bent them back and then snapped them off.

Always been a HUGE fan of your work. Very inspiring. Seeing some of your mods are what motivated me to finally handle the micra key mod.

I was thinking the other day that a giant Style PS - a Skeletool with scissors replacing the blade - would be a cool idea. Any takers?

No idea where to find a sprung pair of scissors that fit. Custom cut with a custom spring would be the only option really.

    That's a great idea tho :)

There was a mod over a year ago on this forum where someone added a pair of Victorinox 91mm scissors to a Wave. Skeletool has the same pivot size as the Wave, but the scissors pivot would need to be made larger, it's only 2.5mm I believe. Also another option would be to use the Juice scissors, but the Vic scissors are far better. And that I say as a die hard Juice fan. ;D
