Hello. The clip is from knifekits.com. It comes as a 3 hole clip. I grind one hole off as seen here. The holes are meant for larger screws so A bit of machining is involved with both screw head and clip so it wont move. It's just countersunk and the screwhead sanded smaller to lock it in place. You can do that or simply make a small washer to fit the hole. Its aluminum so cranking down on the screw is a test in patience. Sometimes it strips. If it does, a simple peening on the backside will remedy that. If you need any help, feel free to ask either here or via PM and I will do my best to help. I'd link the clip here but dont think I can do a hotlink. Knifekits and lookup pocketclips. The pivots are 1/8 and the screw 2-56. Good luck!
Well my charge tti had a nylon sheath that had velcro. I replaced it with a snap and put the Velcro on the front for moral patches i later got a leather sheath. I will look for pictures later. Also the mini screwdriver thing broke so i replaced it with a toothpick. that has now been replaced but its self explanatory what i did.
rickinFL if you can PM me when you get a chance. Have some questions about ordering that custom juice from you. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No luck in finding anything that will fit. Looking over cheap donor knives right now to see if I can scavenge one from the bay. If I find one, I will contact you via message.
rickinFL hate to go off topic, but how do you like the true utility keytool? They're not something you see often around here, and I've pondered on one.
To be totally honest if i have popped a beer more than once with it I would not remember. Another spur of moment purchase. I love the idea of it though. Keychain tool that takes almost no space. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Love all the ideas. Going to be doing a few things to my Wave: Replace damaged plier head with Rebar pliers (Gone through 3 plier heads b/c I do a lot of wire cutting with my wave) Replace serrated blade with serrated blade with cutter Replace saw with Juice scissors Replace scissors with awl Modify bit holder to take full-size bits Add hacksaw blade And lastly, acid wash the casing!
See Liberty. You ask and shall receive. EDC forums at it's best! Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
I've carried this wave with awl and rebar jaws every day for the last 3 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There’s write ups on some forums about it. Not too hard. You’ve gotta modify the sissors a little so it’ll close. I swapped some of the tools around with a rebar also.
