I've got mixed feelings on this one. It's a great knife, no doubt at all, comparing it side by side with a Hinderer built HInderer I can say that the ZT is a very faithful copy of the Hinderer, almost too much so. After spending time with both I feel like it is more of cheap Hinderer wanna be than it is a high end ZT.

Don't get me wrong, I think the ZT is a great knife. Feels good in the hand, very solid, built very well with good F&F, and flips unbelievably well - smooth, fast, and positive. It might very well have become my favorite carry knife in my collection if I did not have the Hinderer already.

The problem is that is so close to the real deal that it has to be judged against that standard and not other ZT's.

Want a Hinderer, but can't afford it? Get the ZT, you will be very happy with it. Myself, I think it will be catch and release, with the funds going towards a 3.5" Skinner grind XM...

Great blade shape, great knife. One word of caution though - the screws are loctited, and very difficult to remove. I almost stripped the pivot screws with force. So if you wish to deassist, be careful and use the best quality drivers. The hardware is rock solid though, and body screws unscrewed just fine with a lot of force.

Just replaced the default clip on my ZT0620CF with a Titanium clip I bought on Ebay for $18.00.
I like it, had to leave off 1 middle screw but it's a tight fit with just the 2 screws.
Yes, blade was re-profiled, no more tanto.

First ZT, first assisted flipper, first M390, most I've ever spent on a knife. (GULP!) ZT0562CF

With all due respect, sir, 562CF has no speed-safe / assist feature. It's manual flipper on KVT ball-bearing opening system. Great choice of a knife, sir !

Well, there you go. I had a Buck Vantage that was not assisted, and it took a great deal more wrist action to flip. This one is so much smoother I figured it had to be assisted. Thanks for the knowledge!
