I know, I know... For many, these aren't an EDC item. I've found that I'm doing a bit more traveling these days and I am in the market for a good bag for a toiletry kit and wanted to see what kind of options were out there. I really like the hang up style bags similar to the M**ped Aftermath, but I really don't think I need a tactical toiletry kit. I've recently joined the brotherhood of DE Safety Razor users, so my required kit has expanded a bit beyond the typical electric razor, toothbrush, and pit stick that I can usually just shove in one of the admin pockets of my bag. So, show off your Dopp Kit and give me some ideas.

    I recently bought two:

Kathmandu Kit Bag - it hangs and has a mirror:

and an Eagle Creek Quick Trip (still got the tag on):

Both were inexpensive. Might build up to a nice Victorinox or Red Oxx one day.

Hm... Those LL Bean ones look promising. Looks like the hanging hook is on a swivel rather than fixed, which would be nice. Might have to give one of those a shot.

I seriously entertained the haz4 to match some of my other haz4 gear, and I know its quality kit, just wanted to see what other options existed.

Thanks for the info so far, ladies and gents.

I never took a picture of it since I have only used it a couple of times traveling. But I have the Hazard 4 Reveille, it has the same high quality of any of the other hazard 4 products. Most of the time my kato acts a toiletry bag though since I keep the basic stuff in there.

I have a Timbuk2 Super Burrito and I think it's just about perfect. Plenty of space for everything that I carry on longer trips. In fact, that may be the one downside to it; it has so much room that my wife frequently squirrels away her stuff in there too...

No pics but a quick Google search will find plenty... I don't think they make them anymore but I'm not sure.

i use a frost river dopp kit or large accessory bag, depending on length of the trip.

I use to use an Eagle Creek Toiletry Bag that I could hang on the door. I stopped using it when I left it behind in hotel and had to have it shipped to me. I switched to two Lock and Lock Containers to hold that stuff.

I'm looking for a new toiletry bag myself. The one I have is nearing the end of its useful life of over 13 years of use.

Great thread idea. As a DE razor user (I am one myself, I alternate between a DE and straight razor), I feel you might appreciate a dopp kit with a bit of class. Here's a couple I was looking at; spendy, but they will last you forever.

    The Colonel Littleton offering:
    http://www.colonellittleton.com/shop/bags-and-such/shave-kits.html

And one of several nice dopp kits from Etsy sellers:
    http://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/111338499/leather-dopp-kit-free-monogramming-mens?ref=shop_home_active

I like the hanging style kits, and really love the Col Littleton, but can't justify the price. I've been dabbling in leather working so I hope to create my own in a similar style.

I have a combo toiletry / basic travel bag. I use a small LAPG BoB. It’s got a few general travel things like a light, lighters, very basic FAK, knife, multi tool, duct tape, emergency cash, etc. Then there’s shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, and nail clippers. Inside there’s a smaller bag with my DE razor, brush, and aftershave.

I recently got (free) one of those Swiss Army branded toiletry bags. I’m going to incorporate that, too, but I’m not sure how.

The BoB is handy because if I’m going on a short trip it just goes inside my duffel bag. For a longer trip it goes separately and there’s room for more clothes.
