One of my favorites
So happy, today i did my first mod.
i put a old pocket clip on my victorinox spartan
I'm not a big SAK guy, but this color and Alox...I couldn't pass it up!
(Plus, anything that says Limited Edition!)

Nicely done! Be careful not to loosen the scale over time and loosing the entire thing
yeah i thought about that if it would catch behind something and pull the scale off.
but i never took the scale of before so it's still factory tight, because i drilled the small holes in the scale without taking it off.
I've done the same thing to an executive and the scale loosened over the course of about 3 months. A scale is easily replaces or glued on though. Hope it works out for you!
i have carried these 3 for the last 2 months or so, all 3 dutch army versions.
but i changed my edc last week and the SAK that i carry now is this german army 108mm trooper. ( pic upside down )
yeah i replaced a scale once on a victorinox camper it's easy.
if the scale comes off i'll post it here and see what i'll do.
It's not too bad, getting a new one on is harder though!
i used a mini bench vise that i made at school during metal class, i glued some plastic inserts on the vise so it doesn't scratch the scales.
i used the vise kinda as a press to pop the scales on, it worked great.
and here's a pic of the plastic inserts i glued on.
Have you ever used the saw on the 108mm? I would like to know how it compares to other SAK saws.
That's nice! I used two pieces of wood, which I stood on, worked great! Yours is much nicer though
I have, it doesn't compare. The 'other' ones are far superior
